GGS was founded in 2016 by Marc Townsend, a Royal Navy vet who supervised frontline nuclear and electrical engineering projects. When Marc retired from the military, he became a field service engineering expert for one of the largest lab gas generator companies in the world. 

With firsthand knowledge of the day-to-day challenges labs face, Marc set out to understand the needs of lab managers, to understand their pain points, and to design expert services to meet those needs.

Today, GGS is the largest independent lab gas generator repair and maintenance firm in North America. It is also the industry’s only unbiased resource for servicing all types of lab gas generator brands and models.
